Suppressed emotions

In a recent post, I discussed the mindbody theory and how suppressed emotions such as rage or guilt can affect a person physically and cause pain and other socially acceptable maladies. I also spoke about how just reading the book was helping with some pain I’ve been dealing with for, in some cases, years.

While this is certainly exciting and gave me a tremendous amount of relief (particularly from back pain), I knew that there had to be a way to speed up the process and possibly even allow me to release trapped feelings that I wasn’t even aware of. So I went looking for a process I could do myself and found The Emotion Code: How to Release Your Trapped Emotions for Abundant Health, Love, and Happiness. It’s a surprisingly simple process that basically involves muscle testing to speak with your subconscious to determine what emotions are trapped, getting further information (if necessary), and then releasing the suppressed emotions using a magnet run over the central meridian.

It seems so easy that I didn’t think it would work. And I will admit that I do not feel any particular emotional release when I do it. However, I have noticed a further lessening of back pain and overall increased sense of wellbeing. In spite of my doubts, I do now believe that it’s working. I still have quite a way to go, but I’ll get there.

One topic that is covered in the book is something called a heart-wall. This is when we trap emotions within a metaphorical structure surrounding and protecting our hearts. Dr. Nelson (author) believes that as many as 93% of the population has built up this protective layer to protect their hearts from further hurt. I definitely have one… but I’ve started removing the wall so I can start truly feeling again.

This is a tool that I will use on myself for, quite possibly, the rest of my life. Is it something you’d like to try? You can get the book on Kindle Unlimited, or I offer it as part of my coaching packages. Even if it sounds crazy, you’ve got nothing to lose and potentially lots to gain.
