Trapped emotions = trapped fat?

Recently, I’ve been working a lot on releasing trapped emotions. To do this, I’ve been using my own method, which is a combination of The Emotion Code methodology plus reflexology. And I’ve been feeling (and acting) much more like the old me.

One side effect I’ve noticed is that the excess fat I’ve been carrying around for YEARS has started shifting with no changes to my diet or exercise routine. In fact, I managed to shed almost half a pound of fat over the weekend… even though I attended a big birthday blowout and ate more than normal. This included a very indulgent piece of cake with lots of yummy frosting. Perhaps most significant (to me, at least) is that it is all belly fat. Total shed in the past week is about 4 pounds. So YAY!

This brings me to the theme of this post – were those trapped emotions also trapping fat in my body? Have I been carrying around excess belly fat to protect myself from unwanted attention and possible harm? What do you think? Please comment below to share.
