What do you REALLY want?

Digging deeper – that’s what these journal prompts are about. I am going to put the questions from Amanda Frances’s book “Rich as F*ck” in here to let you dive deeper into the question of what it is you want from life:

  1. If nothing I wanted were bad or wrong, what would I want?
  2. If no matter what I did, no one would be mad at me, what would I want?
  3. If nothing bad would happen no matter what I did, what would I want?
  4. If no matter what I wanted, it would happen, what would I want?
  5. If I could fully trust myself to do my part, what would I want?

I love these questions because they allow you to dig deeper into what you really want and admit to the things that we truly desire (even though we think we shouldn’t want them).

Here’s the thing: you want what you want, and it doesn’t make you a bad person (what whatever label you’ve given to people who want or have the things you secretly desire). Remember, these are journal prompts – it is safe to admit to yourself that you want things. There is nothing wrong with having desires. Having desires doesn’t mean that you aren’t grateful for what you have… it just means that you want to evolve in every way (including having a higher qualify of life).
